Barb was Max's "Mom" and is the owner and operator of Max Pet Care LLC. She has a lifelong love of animals and will take care of your "fur-baby" as if it were her own.
Max was Barb's sweet companion for 16 years. He was a standard dachshund to the naked eye, but really he was a person in a dog body. He was smart, playful, and true to the breed, very stubborn.
"Max was my pampered prince and he required special at-home care. I spent more time searching for a caring responsible person to take care of him in my home than I did planning my trips."

A Great Match!
We were looking for a dog sitter who would stay over at our home when we went away for a few days. We contacted Barb and she immediately set a time to meet all of us before our departure. When she arrived and our dog, Ernie, bounded out of the house to greet her, it was apparent that she was an animal lover from her excited and playful response.
Ernie helped show Barb around his manor. Barb asked us some questions and had paperwork for us to fill out and we all agreed it was a great match. While we were gone Barb not only took great care of our dog, she took him on rides in her car (one of his favorite past times), brought him on walks, played ball with him, and relaxed on the couch (yes we allow that) and gave him tons of pets (another one of his favs).
Barb not only understood and enjoyed our dog, she understood us and our concern that Ernie be well taken care of. You see, Ernie is our King. We have no other kids or pets. He rules us in the most loving, playful, loyal way. Barb gave us great comfort in leaving him for those days. We were comfortable having her in our home and it made it less stressful on Ernie to have it that way.
